An intermedia series exploring the relationship with the land. Transforming the land into sculptural beings, capturing the resonance of the land through the felt experience of the artist. Outer landscapes pour into inner landscapes. Photographs and videos - image and sound were taken as little pieces of the land, to be then morphed into sculpture. A metamorphoses from one sculpture to the other. The sculptures were not planned ahead, but a spontanous reaction and intuitive process. The land explored in this series - the Northsea area of Northern Germany - was an often visited refuge for the artist during childhood. The artist wants to take the viewer into the experience of being in relationship with the land - into her relationship with the land. And inspire to ask where the viewer is in relationship with the land as well - to see the land and nature as a subject rather then object.
